Our business works as follows:

Our package approach – Choosing your groceries is easy and fast. Chaletfood has carefully selected a range of options to make your holiday simpler and more restful. In just a few minutes you can order your breakfast, packed lunch, aperitifs, dinner, drinks and the boring necessities (like loo paper and bin bags). This forms the basis of your shopping.

It's flexible– You can add, amend volumes or delete items you don't wish from a package. If you wish you can also select you items individually from the product listings. If you wish something that is not listed there is space on the details section of the order to add you comments. Please be sure to specify the item you want and whether you wish us to look for a nearest equivalent if not available.

Order time – You can order up to the day before arrival. However our prices increase if you order less than 96 hours before your requested delivery time. We do this as the closer to your delivery date the less possibility to shop around and we may have to do a specific shop for you taking more time. The price is fixed when you order. You can also order less than 24 hours before you go on holiday or even when you reach the resort, but please check first with your resort (the your resort could be highlighted to go to resort page or location) to be sure we can deliver when you need.

Payment – You pay 20% at the time you order by credit or debit card and the balance in cash in local currency when your shopping is delivered.

We deliver – We deliver between 7.00 AM and 11.00 PM. Advise your arrival time and we'll aim to be there within 1 hour. This is your provisional delivery slot. When you actually arrive in resort (or are sure of your arrival time) call us on the number we will e-mail you and we will bring your goods to you.

We're competitive – The cost is very competitive against local supermarkets as we do your shopping away from the resort. Add that to the ability to get your groceries organised before you go on holiday and have everything delivered straight to your door. We think it’s a great deal!

Pricing

All our prices are quoted in local currency (i.e. Euros in France, US$ in USA).

Quantities

Our main package options are designed with 4 people in mind. We recognise however that appetites do differ and ask you to make your own judgement as to whether our quantities are suitable for your party. In making your order, you simply select the number of each option, which most closely matches your requirements and then change the quantities or add/delete items from your basket.

You can order any amount you like. However should you order less than 125 euro/$ we will add a delivery charge of 25 euro/$. A few extra beers will usually cover the difference!
